Hi, I’m Briana - an artist, mom, and botanical illustrator based in Washington.

My work is inspired by vintage botanical illustration, where art and science overlap. I studied plant sciences in college, and I’ve always loved how plants can be both beautiful and informative at the same time.

These days, I create from home with my toddler close by—sometimes helping, sometimes not—but always part of the process. My paintings tend to reflect that season of life: thoughtful, a little imperfect, and made in the middle of real, everyday moments.

I’m especially drawn to flowers with meaning—like birth flowers—and pieces that feel personal to the people who bring them into their homes.

Alongside original paintings, I also run a monthly mail club where I send out a print, a couple of extras, and a letter each month. It’s been one of my favorite parts of what I do.
